What personal data do we process?
Volt Strategy processes personal data for the purposes of processing and considering your application. We also offer the possibility to subscribe to mailings or register for recruitment events. We process personal data to manage these mailings and events, and to ensure a smooth transition to our application process. These personal data could entail:

  • Contact information (name, address, place of residence, email, phone number)
  • Grade lists
  • Other information supplied on your CV
  • Remarks and feedback

Who is responsible for the processing of your personal data?

With what purpose and on which basis do we process your personal data?
Your data will only be used for the application process (from introduction to or offer or termination). As your data is crucial to this process, we cannot accept your application if you do not provide the relevant data. The legal basis (“grondslag”) for processing data within the context of recruitment procedures is our legitimate interest (“gerechtvaardigd belang”) in conducting an application process.

How long do we keep your personal data?
If your application process is terminated, either by us or by you, we keep your data for a maximum of 4 weeks after the termination date. 

Should the application process not be actively terminated, we maintain a maximum retention period of 5 years, starting from the last moment of contact. This is particularly relevant for mailings and events. 

If you get an offer and decide to join our team, selected contact and CV data may be used for onboarding purposes before you begin working for us, and data relevant for the employment will be placed in your personnel file.

Who do we share your data with?
We don’t share any personal data publicly or with third parties, except when required to by law.

How do we secure your data?
We take the protection of your data seriously and implement appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorized access, unwanted disclosure, and unauthorized modification.

Access, correct or delete your data
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data. Additionally, you have the right to withdraw any consent given for data processing at any time, or to object to the processing of your personal data by Volt Strategy.

You can submit a request through We aim to reply as soon as possible, but within four weeks at the latest. You may also file a report with the Data Protection Authority (“Autoriteit Persoonsgevens”).
